I liked doing the covers of ExportWise magazine over the years.
Final Work
For several years, I was responsible for the image quality and finalization for ExportWise magazine.
There was always just enough photoshop work to keep it interesting in terms of image production. Imagery was kept quite simple most of the time, however the challenges came with some of the required photos. One of the features of the magazine is profiles of companies. These images vary greatly in quatlity and sometimes have to massaged into an Offset printing environment.
The covers were the most fun as they often involved multiple layers and nice little imperceptible Photoshop tweaks. Another technique that often cropped up was the addition of sky or ‘more building’.

This image was a big Photoshop job with corrective lighting and multiple Studio quality photo hoots.
